Your device is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it because they could hurt themselves and others, damage the device, dial 911 by mistake or make calls that increase your phone bill.
22.11. Medical devices
Most modern medical equipment is shielded from radio frequency (RF) signals. However, certain medical devices, including implanted medical equipment, might not be shielded against the RF signals from the wireless device. Using radio transmitting equipment, including wireless devices, may interfere with inadequately shielded medical devices' function. To avoid potential interference, manufacturers of medical devices recommend that the minimum distance between the wireless device and the medical device should be 15.3 centimeters. If you are using a pacemaker, do not put the wireless device into a pocket near the heart. Consult a physician or the medical device's manufacturer if you have any questions about using your wireless device with a medical device.
22.12. Care and maintenance
- Do not drop, knock, or shake the device.
- Do not touch the broken parts if the device screen is broken or crashed because this may cause injury to you. In this case, stop using the device immediately, and contact an authorised service center immediately.
- Keep the device dry. If your device is wet, just let it dry in room temperature.
- Do not place the device in high or low temperature. High or low temperature may damage the device and battery or affect its normal performance.
- Clean the surface of the device with a soft cloth. Do not use water or detergents.
- Keep the device away from magnetic storage media, such as magnetic cards and floppy disks near the device because information stored on them could be erased. Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the device.

22.15. Radio Frequency Exposure Information
Your YotaPhone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It meets international guidelines for exposure to radio waves.
As recommended by international guidelines, the device is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves. These guidelines were developed by the independent scientific organization International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and include safety measures designed to ensure safety for all users, regardless of age and health.
The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the unit of measurement for the amount of radio frequency energy absorbed by the body when using a device. The SAR value is determined at the highest certified power level in laboratory conditions, but the actual SAR level of the device when being operated can be below that value. This is because the device is designed to use the minimum power required to reach the network.
The SAR limit recommended by ICNIRP is 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue. The highest SAR value for this YotaPhone device is 0.570 W/kg when tested at the ear, and 0.276 W/kg when properly worn on the body.
YotaPhone SAR value measurements have been conducted following EN 50360:2001/A1:2012 & EN 62209-1:2006 standards, and EN 50360:2001/AC & EN 62209-1:2006 standards respectively.
